His studies

In 1988 he was awarded a Diploma in Agriculture at the Duca degli Abruzzi Technical Institute in Padua. On 19 December 1996 he obtained a Degree in Agrarian Studies at Padua University, discussing a thesis on urban entomology.
He was granted a four-year scholarship at the University of Padua Entomology Institute by the Veneto Region Prevention Department, working on a plan for monitoring and controlling the diffusion of Aedes albopictus and Anthropophilic culicidae in coastal areas.
Research at the Valle Averto WWF nature sanctuary on the influence of climate factors on the growth rate of Hyphantria cunea and the strategies for its control.
